Myeloid and neutrophil circuits in resistance
We define how macrophage and neutrophil states support tumour evolution, systemic immunosuppression and resistance to therapy.
How do inflammatory and resolution programmes in myeloid cells determine whether treatment succeeds or fails?
Myeloid cells can promote tumour growth, suppress adaptive immunity and reorganise tissue responses after therapy. The laboratory studies how specific macrophage and neutrophil programmes emerge and how they differ across tumour phenotypes and treatment contexts.
Current questions include interferon-stimulated neutrophil states, reverse migration, macrophage inhibition and the coupling of epithelial or mesenchymal tumour states to distinct myeloid circuits.
